She is on a mission to build awareness about the strengths and struggles of people with disabilities, especially those with learning disabilities. Her aim is to help build inclusive societies. This October for #DyslexiaAwarenessMonth, 30 organizations came together to #Walk4Dyslexia across 7 cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Bhopal, Jaipur, and Kolkata. The Walk in Delhi was co-organised with ORKIDS Foundation on Kartavya Path on 30th October, 2022 in which over 300 people across age groups & from all walks of life took part, to #breakthetaboo, encouraging people to #speak4dyslexia.
In partnership with UNESCO MGIEP, ChangeInkk Foundation had requested for the support of the Government of India for the 'Go Red' campaign in which many important buildings and monuments throughout Delhi displayed red lighting. Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament, North and South Block, and India Gate along with various historical monuments and government buildings also went all red to support the cause.
ChangeInkk’s #Speak4Dyslexia campaign has garnered an organic reach of over 75 million, encouraging individuals to speak openly about their learning disabilities, while spreading awareness on their many strengths and dispelling myths about their weaknesses. More recently, the Govt. Of India – Dept. Of PwD, Ministry of Civil Aviation, and Dept. of Telecom adopted the campaign on International Day for Persons with Disabilities, 2022.
#ImagintheWorld without Dyslexia campaign, builds awareness around the many strengths of the dyslexic mind, highlighting stories of success and struggles of dyslexics from across India. The campaign was displayed on 800+ screens across the Delhi NCR region.
